James is a qualified builder with over twenty years experience in the industry, having built conventional homes, architecturally designed homes, and Lockwood homes. James spent eight years managing twenty men and sub trades in commercial construction. His building experience includes cladding homes and buildings with polystyrene and other claddings systems in the late nineties. As a result James could see firsthand the lack of detailing / flashings that were being used at that time. Recently, these problems have been recognised within the building industry and seen in the media leaky homes. Jamess building experience set him in good stead to start in the home inspection industry. James started his own inspection company in 2006 and has completed over 2000 home inspections, so is very experienced in home inspection techniques with an excellent reputation.

Mark sewell is a qualified plumber, drainlayer and roofer and has 25 years experieace in the building industry. Mark spent 15 years working with a building company sorting issues from the drawing board right through to completed projects. He has project managed many jobs here in new Zealand and over seas. His strengths include knowing the housing industry in side out from the foundations to the roof and the spouting to the storm water system at the council mains. He has delt with all local aurthorties in the wellington area and understands their procedures and systems. Mark performed a large number of inspections, and is an integral part of the Total Home Inspection Service team, and looks forward to working with you soon on your next inspection.
